Reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery
Blue Ridge Foot and Ankle Clinic, PLC. is pleased to welcome Dr. Stewart M. Chang to our practice. His extensive training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery brings an added dimension to our practice. He is uniquely qualified to treat acquired, congenital, traumatic, neoplastic, and infectious abnormalities of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Chang received his undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center, University of Maryland Medical Systems (UMMS). Dr Chang’s residency was a three-year comprehensive medical and surgical foot and ankle training experience. There he was exposed to all aspects of foot and ankle medical and surgical management. In his final year at Maryland, he was a dedicated resident/fellow to John Kenzora MD, Professor of Orthopaedics and Foot and Ankle Specialty Surgeon. In that role, he performed advanced level foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma surgery, and diabetic limb salvage under direction of the orthopaedic faculty at UMMS.
